Course Description: This course is a renewal requirement for the holder of a NYC Master Riggers License. In this course, students will become aware of potential rigging and crane hazards to avoid any accidents. Students will also learn the NYC Construction Codes applicable and including regulation notices. NYC DOB, Buildings, Transportation, and Transit authority are among some topics also included in the curriculum for this course. Additionally, topics such as; crane set up, reading plans, operating cranes, maintenance and repair of cranes, inspection of cranes ropes and operator responsibility are also covered.
