32-Hour Suspended scaffold supervisor

Course Description: This course is a requirement for an individual to supervise the installation or use of suspended scaffold in NYC. In this course, students will learn the types and major components of suspended scaffolds as all as the common causes and prevention of accidents. A brief overview of OSHA 1962 will also be given so that students can understand the safety and health regulations for construction and PPE. In this chapter we will also cover NYC Construction codes as well as NYC Department of building overview from administrative standards, operating procedures, filing and site documents, plans inspections checklist/logs and weather advisories. Students will also learn the necessary rope, fall, knit & hitch configurations and connections used for applications and techniques.
