16-Hour Rigger Supervisor Refresher

Course Description: This course is a requirement for an individual who is not a licensed rigger or a designated foreman of a licensed rigger – to maintain their designation to supervise the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment. Through this course, students will learn topics such as maintenance, repair, use and hazards associated with cranes and derricks as well as common causes on accidents with cranes and how to avoid them. The curriculum taught in this section is synonymous with OSHA, DOB and ASME standards.
