30-Hour Master Rigger

Course Description: This course is a requirement for all applications for special Riggers License with the New York City Department of Buildings. Some topics that students will learn include; ability to detect possible hazards and before they happen with special riggers to prevent accidents. Students will also learn OSHA Subpart CC for Cranes and Derricks in conjunction with DOB code overview. Students will also learn and understand the basic plan reading and symbols in addition to lifting and lowering loads, suspended work platforms, hazardous materials and also logs for record keeping purposes.
