32-Hour Supported Scaffold Installer & Remover

Course Description: This course is a requirement for an individual to install or remove a supported scaffold in NYC. Some topics that are covered in this course are; general overview of scaffolding, OSHA 1926 overview (safety & health regulations) NYC construction codes overview – in reference to chapter 9 Rigging Operations & all NYC building codes with emphasis on scaffold section, chapter 33 safe guards during construction and demolition. Students will also learn the recourses how to access and work on platforms. They will be able to understand ties & braces, fall protection, accident prevention & general safety and scaffold systems, and more!
